We've recently added a few new pieces from the popular Annie Buffalo Check Collection by VHC Brands and we wanted to give you a quick peek. The new curtains feature a pretty ruffled edge- giving them a decidedly country look. After all, country folks loved buffalo checks even before they were cool! The adorable window above is dressed with the new Annie Black Buffalo Check Ruffled Swag and the one below shows theĀ  Annie Black Buffalo Check 63" Curtain Panels.

These would work nicely in so many places- breakfast room, living room, kitchen, bath. Just about anywhere really. All curtains in this collection are made from 100% cotton fabric with a white cotton lining. They can be hung the traditional way using the 3.25" rod pocket, or hung by the attached fabric loops on back for a slightly updated look. All curtains in this collection feature a classic black and white color scheme for a crisp look. The white here is described by the manufacturer as antique white or soft white- not a super bright white but not a cream either. Check out this cute ruffled shower curtain ~

The simplicity of the pattern makes such a bold statement. It's hard to miss buffalo checks but the ruffles give it a soft, nostalgic look. Wouldn't this be pretty paired with simple subway tile in a modern farmhouse bathroom? Or in a vintage country cottage?

Okay, so maybe the ruffles are a bit too much for some folks. No worries- the Annie Black Buffalo Collection also includes plenty of items that don't feature ruffles. The original Annie Buffalo pieces that came out a couple of years ago are made with a straight edge for a clean and simple look. Take a look at the Annie Black Buffalo 84" Panel Set below.

In this style you will find several other window treatments including valances, swags, prairie swags, door panels, tier sets and a whole lot more. We even have bedding accessories such as pillow cases, bedskirts, Euro shams and toss pillows in the Annie Black Buffalo Check pattern. And coming soon watch for a quilted coverlet in this popular pattern. Take a peek of it below~

This is adorable. All it needs is a contrasting toss pillow in the center to be the final ta-da. Like maybe a large scale floral print? Or an old-fashioned needlepoint pillow? You'll figure it out. At any rate, this is going to be a versatile coverlet that could be useful in many different ways. It could be used as the primary bed covering, or as an accent folded at the foot of the bed. The cool thing about using Buffalo Check is that it doesn't even need to match the other items in the room. It can be a bold point of contrast or an accent piece that draws the eye. The possibilities are endless!
