It all started in 2006 when a search for simple (and cute) cafe curtains turned into an exercise in frustration. How could it be so hard to find simple country things? Our local department stores offered all the latest trendy looks, but where could you find the old styles? It seemed like no one catered to the old-fashioned folks out there who long for the the quietly simple things of yesterday.

So, one thing led to another...

Now, we're up to our eyeballs in quilts, curtains, swatches, and other assorted goodies. In the process we've discovered some outstanding companies and individual artisans who are committed to producing traditional country linens of unusual quality.
