If you've been scrolling through Pinterest lately, you've probably noticed Retro Cowboy style making a major comeback. And honestly, we're totally here for it. There's just something undeniably cozy and comforting about that classic cowboy motif. Just like watching Saturday morning cartoons, or black and white Gunsmoke reruns, Retro Cowboy decor transports you to a different era and makes you smile...
For those of us who grew up in the 50's, 60's and 70's- TV was such an integral part of life. Kind of like the smart phone or social media is to today's generation. TV was entertainment during our formative years, and it influenced every area of life. And those TV cowboys felt like beloved family members. Kids pretended to be heroes like Matt Dillon and the Lone Ranger, complete with cap guns, bandanas, boots and fake spurs. The good ole days!
So it only makes sense that the sight of a rared up horse and rugged cowboy would warm our hearts.
