Cozy Up with Tasha Polizzi's Rustic Bedding Collection

We're excited to show you the new bedding collection by Tasha Polizzi! We've just finished adding several new bedding sets - comforters, duvet covers, sheets and quilts and we're really impressed with the nostalgic Western feel of these designs. If you're not familiar with the brand, let us introduce you to the world of Tasha Polizzi...

Tasha Polizzi is an iconic fashion brand that is known for upscale Western apparel and accessories. It was founded by a trailblazing entrepreneur who entered the world of high fashion as a young woman in the 1970's, who happened upon a job with Geoffrey Bean in New York. Impressed with her design talent and strong work ethic, she became a favored protege of several famed designers of the day. She worked her way up in the world of women's fashion, based in the hustle and bustle of New York City. She had it all, but eventually longed for a quieter life. 

So this is where the story gets really cool- Tasha and her young family moved to the country and she started her own business. A classic American tale of hard work and ingenuity. Don't we all love those stories? They moved to the Berkshires in Massachusetts, and opened a small retail store focusing on home decor and apparel with a rustic outdoorsy flavor. It was a hit, and the rest is history.

Tasha was able to use her vast experience in fashion design to create a unique line of clothing and accessories that was a perfect fit for those who appreciate the joys of a relaxed country life. (But also enjoy a bit of rustic bling!) Definitely not the sort of clothing one would choose for mucking out the stalls... No, her form of rustic style is high end and upscale, using luxury fabrics and intricate patterns to create a unique blend of rugged and refined. Here's a gorgeous example, called the Gabriel Pullover. (Definitely on the Christmas wishlist.)

Out of this clothing line a new design house was born. Over the years, it enjoyed great success and become a well loved source of inspiration to many. Sadly, Tasha passed away in 2017 after a brave battle with cancer. Her family has continued the business, and maintains the T.P. Saddleblanket store in Great Barrington, MA and her designs are also available online at TashaPolizzi.com

In 2025, the Tasha Polizzi brand has partnered with Paseo Road to design a new line of bedding and home accessories with her signature blend of rustic and refined. Here is what Paseo Road/HiEnd Accents has to say about the pairing:

One thing that we love about this collection is the warm nostalgic feel evoked by many of the designs. One can almost imagine a young Tasha watching Western movies as a child and later incorporating these images into her designs. Mid Century Modern style is huge right now, but we don't see a whole lot of 50's retro/vintage Western influence in the market. Tasha Polizzi and Paseo Road have nailed this look with their adorable new Settler Quilt, shown here.

Gotta love that vintage style. Other highlights of this collection include a colorful Bandana Quilt set, which pairs effortlessly with Lee Duvet Cover Set. The whimsical Lee washed cotton print features a lovely assortment of Western symbols and imagery, including rodeo cowboys, horse shoes, shooting stars and rustic botanicals. Made from a classic blue washed denim fabric, this set will soften beautifully over time while maintaining its distinctive character. It is available as a comforter set, duvet cover set, and also a fluffy throw blanket and toss pillow. 

Another favorite of this collection in the Rosabel floral print. It is a sweet look that is fit for a rodeo queen, or anyone who appreciates the charming mix of denim and florals. Rosabel is also available as a comforter set, duvet cover set, throw blanket and toss pillow. A version of this print is featured on the reverse side of the Bandana Quilt, shown perviously. As you can see below, the two patterns make a winning combo.

Now, if you're looking for something a little bolder, check out the show stopper below. This pattern is called Mariella and it's an Aztec-inspired geometric pattern that oozes Western charm. This woven chenille fabric combines earthy shades of blue, brown, rust and tan into a rich tapestry of geometric beauty.
